Haydock Park Racecourse

HAYDOCK PARK RACECOURSEThis popular racing venue is located in the Manchester Low Level Route close to the Liverpool CTR. The M6 motorway runs alongside this VRP giving an excellent line feature to follow to aid navigation.

Immediately to the north is the small town of Ashton-in-Makerfield. This town has a small industrial warehouse complex on the northern edge of the conurbation as well as a small racing circuit called Three Sisters.

Immediately to the east is another small town called Golborne. This town separates Haydock Park with another VRP, Leigh Flash.

To the west runs the M6 motorway. If followed towards the north, the M6 will take you out of Low Level Route and keep you outside the Liverpool CTR. On the western edge of the M6 lies an industrial estate with a number of warehouses and office complexes.

To the south is the East Lancashire Road which runs in a west to east orientation. This road links the city of Manchester to the city of Liverpool. This road runs very close to the northern edge of the Barton ATZ.
